Must I live within the community to visit the Knowledge Connection?
No. All visitors are welcome.
Do I have to be registered to go to the Knowledge Connection?
No, registration is not a requirement, however, all sites are required to have patrons sign in daily for statistical purposes.
Are there age stipulations for attending the Knowledge Connections?
All sites require any child under the age of 5 to be accompanied by a responsible chaperone. Any person 5 years of age through adulthood are welcomed. Please note, children and teens take precedence during Homework Hours and scheduled programmed activities. Please check with individual sites for adult hours.
May I use my library card at the Knowledge Connections?
Yes. Full library services are offered from the Allegheny County Library Association. Library cards are accepted at any affiliate library or Knowledge Connection center. You may also obtain a library card from any of the sites.
What can I borrow?
Borrowing regulations vary according to the Site Manager's discretion. Please check individual sites with inquiries.
