Children's Department
Fun for Kids of All Ages!
Our Children’s Department offers many activities for local youth. Story times are regularly scheduled for preschool age children and the staff offers a varitety of programs for older children such as science programs, reading contest, and author visits. These are just several of the fun and educational programs we provide.
In addition to traditional programs, the library has computers with Internet access for children 8 and older and one computer dedicated to the electronic catalog. Call 244-2944 or stop in to find out more about the most exciting place for kids in Wilkinsburg, your library!
It’s not too late to check out this summer’s reading program, Dragons, Dreams & Daring Deeds. Children from 6-12 can participated to win prizes! Stop in the Children’s Department to register for this fun program.
