Welcome!

Come to the library and get help from a computer tutor.

Four classes offered. Sign up for as many as you wish. Each class is an opportunity to practice with one-on-one help from our Computer Tutors.

Each class limited to 8 people. Online registration required, or call 412.882.6622.

Class Descriptions
Computer Basics
In this class we will learn the basic terminology of the Windows environment in the first part. In the remaining hour patrons will get one-on-one help practice mousing and keyboarding skills.

Introduction to Email
In this class we will review basic computer skills and learn the basic concepts of email in the first part. In the remaining hour patrons will get one-on-one help setting up and managing their email accounts.

Introduction to the WWW
In this class we will review basic computer skills and learn the basic concepts of web surfing in the first part. In the remaining hour patrons will get one-on-one help searching and using specific sites.

Introduction to Microsoft Word 2007
In this class we will go over the new features of the Word screen, and basic editing and formatting tools in the first part. In the remaining hour patrons will get one-on-one help creating, editing and formatting Word documents.
