Wine Club 2008
Do you want to learn about wine?
Can you commit to the 2nd Tuesday of each month (not June, July or Aug. & holidays permitting) for a year?
Can you afford $10 per month? First payment due BY Jan. 4, 2008 Second payment due BY Aug. 29, 2008.
Each month we will be learning about & tasting a different type of wine. We will begin Tuesday, January 8th @ 7 p.m. with Chardonnay. Food that blends well with the wines will also be served. Registration is limited and a MUST so, Please stop at the front desk to sign up for this exciting venture.

Beading Club
Club to begin Monday, May 5 at 6:30 p.m. Any one interested in working on their beading projects with other fellow beaders should attend this evening. If you would like to make something in particular you can request Instructor Barbara Kaczor to put a bead kit together and cost will be determined by materials.
Wise Walk 50+
Wise Walk 2008 begins Tuesday, May 6th. The walk is a 10 week program geared toward 50+ adults and is brought to you by the Allegheny County Library Association in partnership with AARP and the Highmark PALS (People Able to Lend Support) Program. The kick-off for the program will be a guest speaker from the Laughter Yoga Club. The Laughter Yoga Club is a place where folks get together to do relaxation exercises based on laughter. Please call the library to sign up, you must come in and sign a waiver and consent form before officially joining the Wise Walk program. The Wise Walkers will begin walking immediately following the Laughter Yoga Club presentation. Or if you'd like to walk on your own schedule, pick up a step log after the presentation.
