This years theme is Be Creative. We will be exploring the world of the arts. Dance, music, acting, and more will be part of our program. The program is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, June 23rd and run until August 6th. We are also going to be having a Teen Summer Library Program and an Adult Program. Carnegie Science Center
The Carnegie Science Center is coming to the Springdale Library this summer for a special program. "Science In The Summer" will focus on physical sciences with an emphasis on electricity. The program is free for children in 3rd thru 6th grade. It will begin on Monday, July 13th and run for 4 consecutive days. It will be at 5pm each day and will run about 1 hour. There will be certificates presented at the completion of the program and they request you wear regular shoes and no sandals. So come get electrified this summer with the Carnegie Science Center and the Springdale Library. You must register in advance to participate in this program. So, call the library at (724) 724-9729.
