Summer Reading Events

 

Don’t forget summer reading events! All teens are welcome.  Mark your calendar and call your friends.  You won’t want to miss them!

 

Teen Movie Nights– Bring your friends to these life-changing films!  Popcorn and drinks provided.  No registration necessary.  Thursdays, June 12, 19, 26, July 3, 10, 17, 24 at 6:30 pm.  Titles to be announced.

 

Mystery Night- Can you figure out whodunit?  Teams will figure out who committed the crime using clues and characters of the story.  Prizes for the winners!  Registration required.  Saturday, July 19, 6-8 pm.

Spa Night– Teens will spend some time pampering

themselves then creating treatments to take home.  This program costs $2 and is required at registration. 

Wednesday, July 9 from 7-8:30.

 

Pimp My Book Cart!- Use library supplies or bring your own to decorate your cart and make it the coolest in the library!  Prizes for the winners!  Wednesday, June 11 from 7-8 pm.

 

Trivia Challenge– Think you know the most useless

information?  Test your skills and maybe you’ll win a prize!  No registration necessary. Monday, July 21, 3-4 pm.

 

Charades- Play this classic party game and maybe a few others!  No registration necessary.  Tuesday, July 8, from 3-4 pm.

 

Healthy Cooking Contest– Use your honed culinary skills to win a prize!  Entries will be judged on things like

appearance, overall nutritional value, and flavor .  Pick up all rules and guidelines at the library. $1 entry fee due at the time of registration.  Wednesday, July 23 from 7-8 pm.
