Tax Forms
Tax forms will be available in the main lobby of the library throughout the tax season. Forms that are not available may be copied from the binder of reproducible forms that can be found at the same table. In addition, tax forms are available to be printed from the Internet.

Tax Assistance
Beginning in February, the Library will offer free income tax assistance for seniors, low-income families and those with disabilities. This service is provided in cooperation with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. A trained volunteer will be available to provide assistance. This program is for taxpayers who file short forms and qualify for Earned Income Credit. Assistance is available for both state and federal forms.
Please call the Library at 412-741-6920 on or after February 1, 2008 for further information and to schedule an appointment.

Free Electronic Filing
Free File is the fast, easy, and free way to file your federal income taxes. If your adjusted gross income was $54,000 or less in 2007, you can use Free File to prepare and e-file your taxes online. Free File is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through our network of partners, but you must access Free File through the IRS Website. Free File is also available in Spanish.
