The Chess Tournament will be held on February 6 from 9 am till noon. Grades K-4 are the Junior
Division, and Grades 5-8 are the Senior Division.Register in advance in the Children's Library
or call 412/795-3507 ext. 115. Registration in advance is required. Bring a chess set. No
spectators will be allowed at the tournament.
Join us in celebrating Black History month with a presentation by Lillian, "The Pink Lady". This
program will feature African fashions presented by Lillian "The Pink Lady" Peterson. This free
program will be on Saturday, February 13th from 2-3 pm. All ages are welcome.
Change in reserve/hold item policy effective December 1, 2009.
A charge of 25 cents will be assessed for each requested item not
picked up and checked out by the last designated pick up date (one
week from notification).
The charges will appear on the patron's fine/overdue account.
The Changing Hills is a new Penn Hills history book
written by Gary Rogers and Jane Hawkins. It is now at the Library
at the desk in the adult department for $20 (or $22.50 if you
need shipping). Contact Jean Kanouff with questions or to
