Readers' Theater


What is it?
 -
A performance mix of reading out loud and acting.  
 - Scripts vary widely including short stories, poetry, radio plays, and adaptations
      of books.
 - Past performances: The Tell Tale Heart, Plaza Suite, The Tiger,
      To Kill a Mockingbird, Baby Snooks, and various poetry and short stories.

Who can join?
 -
Anybody! 
 - Readers/actors, and those willing to help with scripts, publicity, and props.

Where does this happen?
 -
Rehearsals are held at the library.
 - Performances are throughout the South Hills and include senior care homes,
   church groups, college clubs, elderhostel and other libraries.

When are the performances?
 -
Year-round.
