Joining

All Allegheny County residents may receive a library card free of charge with proper identification. A parent or legal guardian must sign for an applicant under 18 years old.

Your card lets you borrow materials from other participating PA Access public libraries throughout the state and from EIN libraries in Allegheny County.

Borrowing

All materials may be borrowed for a period of 3 weeks with the exception of:

New popular fiction from the adult library- 1 week
Videocassettes and DVDs from the adult and children’s libraries- 1 week
Magazines from the adult library- 1 week

Overdue fines:

Twenty five cents a day per item in the adult library.
Ten cents a day per item in the children’s library.
Fifty cents a day for videocassettes and DVDs from both libraries.
