The Bag Went Where???

Take a Mt. Lebanon Public Library tote bag with you on your next trip out of town. Lotfi Berrada took his Mt. Lebanon bride back to Fes, Morocco to meet in-laws and soak up local culture. They left the ruins intact but wonderful little shops like this one yielded many great finds to bring home in ... the Bag!

 

Marty, Leah, and Paige Kassalen made an autumn trip to the Grand Canyon. Three of everything at the gift shops fit easily  in... the Bag!

Library Director Cynthia Richey stopped in at the National Library in Florence on her last trip abroad. She stowed her Italian dictionary in... the Bag!

 

 

The Hurleys (Doreen from the library and her son Mike) found themselves down Texas way and decided to drop in on the First Couple. Sadly they were away, and the barbeque sauce came back home in... the Bag!

Tom and Theresa McMahon visited their son and daughter-in-law in Montuoto, Italy. They planned to carry home those great Tuscan olive oils in... the Bag!

Teacher Robin Harding giggled her way through the  Pippi Longstocking museum in Stockholm. A large Pippi for her class came home in... the Bag!

J.J. Petti recently visited ballparks out west, Edison Field among them. His caps for the Dodgers, Padres and Diamondbacks are all in... the Bag!

Gerry Branik journeyed to the Shaw Festival at Niagara-on-the-Lake in Ontario. Her souvenir playbills, tickets, and restaurant menus fit nicely in... the Bag!

Suzanne and Samantha Reid may have left their hearts in San Francisco but the Ghirardelli chocolate came home in... the Bag!

Barb Rosenthal carried coals to New Castle - well make that Shakespeare to Oxford - when she visited the Chapel at Reble College, the Bard safely in... the Bag.

Alison Peters gets footloose in Shoemakersville come holiday time. The kids visit Grandma while Ali and hubby Pete stash presents in... the Bag!

Julie, Vince, and Tony Mareino looked in on the New York Public Library while visiting the Big Apple. The lions at the entrance were most impressed by... the Bag. 

Caleb Foss heads to Minnesota in the summer for outdoor fun with his extended family at Voyageurs National Park. The day's catch comes home  in… the Bag!

5-year-old Ian Harris went to visit his grandparents in  Murrell's Inlet, SC. He and cousin Jesse Sands had fun scoping out library vacation pack goodies in… the Bag!

Retired chef Phillip Bucci trod the City of Lights in search of gastronomic pleasures. All the exquisite leftovers plus a few bakery goodies fit nicely in … the Bag!

Mardi Centinaro headed for the catacombs down the Appian Way outside Rome. Her shining example showed all of Italy that "when in Rome" one carries … the Bag!

Diane Arimoto went to New Orleans to donate her late father’s papers to the Amistad Research Center at Tulane U. She carried some of them in… the Bag!

Dave Levine kicked back in Clearwater when PA snows piled high last winter. He brought home some seashells, sand and sunshine in what else… the Bag!

Karen Morrell went on an eco-tour of Costa Rica. While hiking in the cloud forest she protected the environment by storing all trash in… the Bag!

Rita Levine took  a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon. She was well- prepared up in the air, but fortunately did NOT have to use… the Bag!

Fred Flury visits lighthouses. This one straddles the Mason-Dixon Line on Fenwick Island in Delaware. Fred’s extra film fit conveniently in…the Bag!

 

Ruth Collura gets away from it all on her 83-acre farm in northern PA. Her latest good read was the 1,424 page Sacajawea, carried along in... the Bag!
