Storytime-To-Go Kits

         Storytime-To-Go Kits are designed for daycare providers, nursery school teachers, kindergarten teachers, home daycare providers, homeschoolers, and librarians. Each kit is theme based and contains books for toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners. All kits provide storytime instructions for different ages, as well as picture books, props, music, teacher resource books, ABC and 123 books, and videos. Storytime kits may be borrowed and returned to any public library in Allegheny County.

Apples, Babies, Bedtime, Cats, Colors, Dinosaurs, Dogs, Farms, Fathers, Food, Friendship, Frogs Snakes & Turtles, Grandparents, Hats, Insects, Jungle Animals, Mothers, Music, Names, Penguins, Trains, Transportation

Seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall

Holiday Kits:
Christmas, December Holidays (Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa), Fathers / Father's Day, February Holidays (Chinese New Year, Groundhog's Day, Valentine's Day), Hanukkah, Mother's / Mother's Day), Thanksgiving

Storytime Kit Checkout Rules:
Storytime Kits may be checked out for 3 weeks
No renewals are allowed on storytime kits
Each kit has a total of 20 items. An inventory sheet is provided for each kit and should be checked against the items before kits are returned to the library. If an item is missing from a kit, fines will accrue until the item is returned.
Borrowers will be charged the current replacement cost for any lost or severely damaged items.
