Baby Lapsit Storytimes
Fridays at 10:30 am for infants to 24 months.

Registration is required. 
You must register for a month at a time.

Please note:  No storytimes will be held November 23 through November 30.


Toddler Storytimes 
Mondays at 10:30 am OR Thursdays at 10:30 am
for ages 24 to 36 months.

Registration is required. 
You must register for a month at a time.

Please note:  Storytime will not be held on September 28.

Preschool Storytimes
Tuesdays at 10:30 am OR Wednesdays at 1:00 pm
for ages 3 to 5 years

Roald Dahl Day

Saturday, September 26 at 1 pm

What's your favorite Roald Dahl book? Draw a picture, write a poem or a book review.  Create a Giant Peach, a Wonka Bar or another character or item from your favorite Roald Dahl book.



Pumpkin Decorating Contest

We're looking for a "Great Pumpkin"!
A one-of-a-kind pumpkin that is silly, scary, creative, pretty or out of this world

All decorated (not carved) entries will be on display in the Children's Room throughout the month of October.  The winner will be announced at the Spooky Stories program on October 29.

 Columbus Day Afternoon Movie

Monday, October 12 at 2 pm

No school?  Watch a movie at the library with snacks provided.

Star Wars Fan Fest

Join us for activities for all ages happening all day!

Schedule of events:
Jedi Trials from 10 am to 12 pm, for grades 4 and up

Lunch with pizza from 12-12:30 pm

Padawan Trials from 12:45-1:30 pm for ages 6 through 9

Movie will be shown from 1:45-3:50 pm
(Star Wars: A New Hope, rated PG, will be shown )

Spooky Stories

Thursday, October 29 at 6:30 pm
Ages 5 and up


One of our favorite storytellers, Alison Babusci, returns for an evening of spine-tickling stories.  All children ages 5 and up are invited to come and wear costumes, and snacks will be provided.

We'll announce the winner of our "Great Pumpkin" Contest too!

Moccasins and More

Saturday, November 21 at 11 am
For ages 5 and up

Barbara Kaczor, a Native storyteller, will be visiting the library with Native American stories, dance ceremony accessories and a craft.

Mini-Gingerbread House Decorting

Monday, November 30 at 1 pm
Ages 5 and up

 Imagine a whole village made out of candy houses!
Come to the libary and build your own little village out of milk cartons, icing and candy!  Children must be supervised
by an adult.

 Holiday Movie

Monday, November 30 at 2 pm

Special treats and a fun movie follows our
gingerbread decorating program.

 

Seasonal Storytime
with Sally Aiken

Saturday, December 12 at 11 am
For toddlers and preschool age

What do animals do in the winter? What do we like to do in winter?  Storyteller Sally Aiken will do a special program of stories and songs to help us get ready for the winter season.
