Donating and Volunteering
The Green Tree Public Library is grateful to those who donate both their time and money to support the library. The needs of the library are great and every little bit helps.
Gifts of Money
Green Tree Public Library is pleased to receive gifts of money designated for the purchase of library materials, equipment or furnishings. Without the financial support of our community, we are not able to provide or expand the services that you have come to expect. We need your help and appreciate your generosity.

You can also contribute to the Green Tree Public Library by including our code on your United Way donation form.

Buy a Brick
It’s still not too late for you to purchase a brick for our donor wall! The cost is $50.00 (4 X 8 inch brick) and your memorial will be forever placed on our wall. For $500.00 you can purchase a larger brick (8 X 8 inch.) The wording must be 14 characters on 3 lines for a total of 42 characters. For example:

memory of
Bob Prince
Please note periods and spaces also count in the 42 characters. Forms are available at the front desk or click here. All of the proceeds will benefit the Green Tree Public Library.
Volunteers
If you cannot donate money, but would like to give some of your time, the library is also interested in the help of volunteers. Volunteers help to shelve books, work on organizing projects, or process new materials. Volunteers must be at least thirteen years old. Gifts
Donations are accepted on the first Saturday of each month. Donations of books, journals and other material broaden our collection, enable us to meet the demand for multiple copies of heavily used titles, and also help us to replace lost or damaged copies. Donations are accepted on the first Saturday of each month.
Your donation may include:
- books
- journals and magazines
- videos
- CDs or DVDs
All donations of materials are accepted with the understanding that Green Tree Public Library becomes the owner and reserves the right to determine retention, location, access and other considerations related to its use. All gifts to the library are considered charitable donations and are eligible for tax receipts.
