Summer Reading
For Kids and Teens
Dormont Library has summer reading programs for readers of all ages. All programs this year run from June 20 to August 1.
This year's theme for Read To Me and Elementary summer reading is "Be Creative At Your Library", and the young adult readers' theme is "Express Yourself At Your Library".
Young readers who sign up for our summer reading program between June 20 and August 1 can earn chances to win great prizes in our raffles. Each book you read gets you more chances to win! You can sign up at the front desk, and you can check out the prizes in the cabinet in the children's area.
All morning storytimes during the Summer Reading Program will feature special themed stories and crafts, and will be open to all ages.

For Adult Readers
Our theme for adult summer reading this year is Local Authors. Sign up at the front desk and you will find a list of local authors, past and present, to choose from.
You are not required to choose only from this list of authors; you can select any author or genre of book that yuo prefer. To complete the adult summer reading program, you need to read and log five books.
The date for the ending party will be announced in the next few weeks. Happy reading!
