Loan Periods and Fines
Circulation Schedule
Most library materials may be borrowed for three weeks. However, some high-demand items that are loaned for shorter durations are as follows:
- 1 week
New Titles & Bestsellers
Magazines
Documentary Videos
CDs
Puppets
Videos & DVDs
Items are due back by closing time on normally scheduled days. Materials placed in the drop box after the library has closed will be checked in on the first business day thereafter.
Materials also may be returned to other libraries in the county, including all branches of the Carnegie Public Library.
Fines
Since you are the only one who can use your library card, you are responsible
for all library materials checked out on your card and any fines charged
to your card. Parents of children under the age of 18 are responsible for
payment of all fines accrued by the child.
