Who are the Friends?

The Friends of the Community Library of Castle Shannon finance special programs and major events for the children throughout the year. They support the Library through fund-raising and volunteer activities. These activities include the Chess Tournament, the Summer Reading Program, the Halloween Parade, Breakfast with Santa and decorations for Christmas.


How to I become a Friend?

You can help support children's programming at the Library and become a member by donating $5, $15, $25 or more. We are also looking for volunteers to help out a few hours a year at our annual fund-raising events.
