Welcome to the Avalon Public Library
WALKER'S ALERT!! The Library will be hosting the County "Wise Walk" for the next ten weeks. Walkers of all ages are invited to our first walking session on Wednesday, May 21, at 10:30 am at the Avalon Public Library, in the Conference Room. T-shirts, pedometers, and water bottles will be distributed. We will walk to the North Boros YMCA, where we will meet up with walkers from other locations. After the Y meeting, we will make a return walk to the library. Join us for fun and fitness at the same time!!! Call the library for more information. 412-761-2288
Travelogue on Wednesday, May 28, at 1:00 pm. Join Pat and the Travel Club as they visit various interesting Pittsburgh locations. This week's films will be a mixture of local flavor.
Film Series continues on Saturday, May 31 at 1:00 pm in the Conference Room. This month's feature is "Juno".
